Tots: Fall 2024 (Ages 3-4)

Join us this fall for our tots program for kids aged 3-4 years old. The concept for this program is to develop soccer skills in a fun, safe rewarding environment. Each child will develop at their own pace with a minimum of 300 touches on the ball in a 45 minute session.

Alex Minton & Afton Burton will be coaching the sessions. They both understand the process on how to engage the kids through different activities to allow each player to flourish in a quality soccer environment.

Each class will be a maximum of 10 players. Teams will not be formed at this age. Learning the skills of soccer is a process and here at Real IFFC we are committed to the long term development of our players.

YDA: FALL 2024

The YDA program is now offering two locations in the Spring for you to choose from. This program is our entry way to grassroots soccer, which will incorporate one day of training and one day of games against other teams. The main emphasis of this program is to provide a fun and safe environment, while learning the fundamentals of the game which includes passing, receiving, dribbling and shooting.

Where: Old Butte Soccer Complex or Mel Erikson/Sunnyside
When: Mon/Weds @ Old Butte & Tues/TH @ Mel Erikson
Dates: Beginning Week of September 9th, Ending Week of October 14th
Age: Players born between 2017-2020
Time? 5:30-6:30PM at both locations

AYDA: 2024-2025

The Advanced Youth Development Academy (AYDA) is designed for those that want to take their soccer experience above the recreational level. The program focuses on having fun in a player-centered environment that best helps kids develop their soccer skills.

There are two AYDA seasons each year – one in the Fall (August to October) and the other in the Spring (April to May). However, additional practices occur during the winter and summer months. Winter practices are held at the IFFC Indoor Training Facility in Idaho Falls. 

AYDA is for boys and girls in the U7 and U8 age groups. Teams may be gender specific or co-ed depending on level of interest. Kids will have practices and/or games two to three times a week. For the 2024-2025 soccer year, this program is for players born 2017-2018.

Other program highlights include:
• AYDA coaches have U.S. Youth Soccer coach certification and/or previous playing and coaching experience
• Games are played against other club teams from Idaho Falls and Pocatello areas
• Potential opportunities to participate in tournaments or jamborees in Idaho or Utah
• Player evaluations are performed before each season to determine if AYDA is best fit for the player

The evalutions are held to determine if it is recommended for kids to play in the AYDA program, or the more recretional Youth Development Academy. Kids will need to come to only one of the Evaluations, but are welcome to come to multiple.

Registration is a two-step process:
  • Step one – Kids should register with the link below before coming to an Evaluation. This registration will consist of completing checkout with a $0 balance. 
  • Step two – After coming to an Evaluation and if recommended for the AYDA program, parents will receive an email will further instrutions to finish registration and pay the registration fee.
