The Advanced Youth Development Academy (AYDA) is designed for those who want to take their soccer experience above the recreational level. The program focuses on having fun in a player-centered environment that best helps kids develop their soccer skills.

There are two AYDA seasons each year – one in the Fall (August to October) and the other in the Spring (April to May). However, additional practices occur during the winter and summer months. Winter practices are held at the IFFC Indoor Training Facility in Idaho Falls. 

AYDA is for boys and girls in the U7 and U8 age groups. Teams may be gender specific or co-ed, depending on the level of interest. Kids will have practices and/or games two to three times a week. For the 2025-2026 soccer year, this program is for players born in 2018-2019.

• AYDA coaches have U.S. Youth Soccer coach certification and/or previous playing and coaching experience

• Games are played against other club teams from the Idaho Falls and Pocatello areas

• Potential opportunities to participate in tournaments or jamborees in Idaho or Utah

• Player evaluations are performed before each season to determine if AYDA is the best fit for the player

The evaluations are held to determine if it is recommended for kids to play in the AYDA program or the more recreational Youth Development Academy (YDA).

Welcome to our second year of our IFFC Summer College ID Camp!

ID CAMP - Players born August 1, 2007-July 31, 2014 . We are excited to offer our third annual College ID Camp for players born August 1, 2007 - July31, 20142. Last year we were able to have 9 different college coaches from all over the county. For this year we already have 5 coaches confirmed from Georgia State, Idaho State University, Eastern Washington, Charlotte FC MLS, and goal keeper coach Aly Joslin! We will continue to update the coaches that will be attending this year once confirmed. By offering an ID Camp here in town it allows our players to enjoy quality coaching right on our doorstep. It is another layer of what IFFC is offering to the community and overall improvement of the quality of soccer in Eastern Idaho.

Join us for our Spring tots program for kids aged 3-4 years old. The concept for this program is to develop soccer skills in a fun, safe rewarding environment. Each child will develop at their own pace with a minimum of 300 touches on the ball in a 45 minute session.

Each class will be a maximum of 12 players. Teams will not be formed at this age. Learning the skills of soccer is a process and here at IFFC we are committed to the long term development of our players.

Start Date: Week of April 6th

End Date: Week of May 11th

The YDA program offers two locations in the Spring for you to choose from. This 6 week program is our entry way to grassroots soccer, which will incorporate one day of training and one day of games against other teams. The main emphasis of this program is to provide a fun and safe environment, while learning the fundamentals of the game which includes passing, receiving, dribbling and shooting.

Soccer goalkeeper training drills for youth and advanced keepers. Learn about goal kicks, catching, footwork, angles, how to dive, be the best on crosses, leadership, and mentally prepare for games and more. All trainings will be led by Coach Mick Burnell and Zach Bramwell at our indoor facility.
