The Youth Development Academy (YDA) has a fall season (late August to mid October) and a spring season (early April to late May). YDA practices and games are at the Idaho Falls Soccer Complex (west of the Idaho Falls Airport) Seasons include weekly training sessions and at least 6 games.
YDA utilizes set teams and age appropriate player technical development as the players train together following a guided curriculum lead by a professional team of coaches from CGA Academy. These coaches will attend training sessions every other week and will provide training session outlines for the weeks they are not in attendance. There are no referees in the YDA program. Players are expected to learn the rules of the game and apply them with help from the coaches. We believe that this will assist them in forming pickup games at school and other places, providing the kids with the best opportunities for growth and development by providing them with increased responsibility to be aware of the rules and their application in game situations.
Children of all skill levels are welcome to participate. Many kids in each "age group" have only limited playing experience and/or skill, while other kids have participated for many years and exhibit high levels of skill. We strive to develop and encourage kids of all levels of experience and ability to learn and grow.

They cost approximately $50 but are the exact same uniforms which will be used in the U11/U12 Program so if a player sizes a little larger they can use it for multiple seasons without having to purchase a new one.
