CLUB PROGRAM

The Club Program is for teams in the U13-U19 age groups. Click here for more information on which age group a player falls in. Some of our club teams are recreational, but most register and play as competitive teams through the Idaho Youth Soccer Association. Club program teams typically have league play from late March to early June and also enter tournaments in Idaho, Utah and other States. Some of the more competitive teams do tournaments throughout the year.

Tryouts for 2001-2006 birth year players for the Spring 2020 season were held Monday June 3, 2019 and Tuesday June 4, 2019.  Please contact Director of Coaching, Jeremy Johnson at doc@byslsoccer.org or Jason Child at exdir@byslsoccer.org if you are new to the area or missed tryouts and have additional questions about potential roster space.

At the 2005 and younger age groups, all club teams in BYSL fall under IFFC (Idaho Falls Futbol Club).

At the 2004 and older age groups, the three organized clubs within BYSL are IFFC, Fusion F.C. and Ballistic S.C. There are also a few independent teams at the 2004 and older age groups.

BYSL is always interested in hearing from potential coaches. We are currently looking for candidates for the 2020 Spring Club season. Please contact Jeremy Johnson at doc@byslsoccer.org or Jason Child at exdir@byslsoccer.org for more information about coaching for any team except a Fusion or Ballistic team.

To coach for Fusion or Ballistic, a coach should contact the Club President of the specific club for more information.

All propective coaches must be reviewed and approved to coach by BYSL. Coaches seeking to be approved to coach a U13-U19 team should submit their requests before the close of player registration so there is time to consider the request before tryouts.

BYSL holds coaching education as a top priority and will pay for coaching education tuition for dedicated and continuing coaches within BYSL. Contact our Director of Coaching Executive Director for more information.
