Jr. High School Information

 

Jr. High tryouts begin on Thursday, August 11.   First games of the season begin:  August 26 for the boys; and August 27 for the girls.  There will be no games September 2 or 5 and October 6, 7, or 8.  The end of the season tournament will be October 10-15 specific days and times will be dependent on IHSAA district playoffs.   Regular season games are planned for Boys on August 26,27, September 9,10,16,17,23,24,30, October 1.  For the Girls games are planned on August 27,30, September 10,12,17,19,24,26, October 1,3.

We will be offering multiple divisions again.  Teams will be placed by Mark Oliver, (oli@ida.net) BYSL Jr. High Director.   Please bring a completed registration form, along with a ball (name included on it), water, cleats, and shinguards, to the Jr. High Tryouts.   Note:  Fees for the U12 and Jr. High Programs DO NOT include the cost of the uniform.  FYI, this will be an additional charge once the teams are selected.

 

 

 Eagle Rock Junior High Boys Tryouts Information:

 

Tryout times are:     Thur. Aug. 11th from 5:30pm-8pm  AND Fri. Aug. 12th from 6pm-8pm.
Bring:                        A copy of birth certificate and a check for $71 to BYSL for registration fees.

I will have 1-Registration form, 2-Player conduct form, and 3-Parent conduct form on site to be filled out and signed.  If you don't have a registration form signed by a parent or guardian you can not try out.  We will fit players for uniforms on Thursday  and i will collect the payment for uniforms on Fri.  Plan on $27-$30 for uniforms.  If you are not there or can't pay on Fri. your child may not have a uniform for the first few games.

COACHES:  After tryouts have been finalized and right before the season begins; Jr. High Registration needs to be completed and turned into Judy Brower, BYSL Treasurer.  Please make sure you collect registration forms, player and parent codes of conduct, birth certificates, and fees ($71.00) before the deadline.  (Checks should be written to:  BYSL Jr. High,” with player’s name written in the memo.)

Judy Brower will be available at the Idaho Falls Activity Center located at 1575 N. Skyline Dr. from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, on Thursday, August 25, 2011.  Coaches, if your team is NOT registered by Thursday, August 25, 2011; all your games will be forfeited until your team is registered.  So please get your Jr. High teams registered NO LATER than Thursday, August 25.

"Note: Jr. High Coaches, if your team is NOT registered by Thursday, August 25, 2011, your team will not play and each game you miss until the team is registered will count as a forfeit--loss."
