Referee 2010 Pre-Season Clinic

Tuesday, March 16, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. we will be holding a pre-season clinic to get us geared up for the spring season ahead. (Location to be determined). 

The cost will be $10, and President John McG is checking into whether there is a way to defray some of that cost.

**We need an RSVP from you so we can make sure we have a room with enough seating. **

Please, let me stress that this meeting is as close to mandatory as can be.  We have ref association meetings monthly, with very low attendance, and yet those who present topics to us are among the strongest, most experienced refs in the nation. We are missing out if we don't take advantage of their expertise. And we need good refs.

Peter Stilling will be our speaker and will cover topics including *Game Management *100% Misconduct * Foul Recognition, Selection, and Discrimination * Reading the Game to influence position and to enhance anticipation of future events * Handling the ball.

BYSL reimburses first-time certified referees 
after they officiate at five games during the year. 

The Spring 2010 U12  registration.  

The spring U11/U12, 2010 season play will begin on Tuesday, & Wednesday, March 23 & 24 (with a two night Jamboree). 6:00-7:30 pm (both nights). Games will be played in Snake River League (SRL); (SRL runs up and down the valley).
The registration deadline for U12s is Wednesday, March 15, 2010

The spring YDP 2010 season play will start Tuesday, April 6th (with a single night Jamboree). Practices will be on Tuesdays, and Games will be on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 pm. (Games begin Thursday, April 15.)  All YDP games and practices will be held at Sunnyside Park.

The registration deadline for YDP is Wednesday, March 25, 2010.
